The project contributes to the social, economic and environmental development of the vulnerable communities bordering the eastern canal of the city of Cali. It also promotes the environmental, physical and urban recovery of the eastern canal protection zone through the development of infrastructure projects and citizenship
participation.

Benefited population
The general community residing in wards 6, 7, 13, 14 15 and 16.

Our Programs

Housing and Environment

The Housing and environment Unit of the Carvajal Foundation arose in the middle 80’s from the need to give technical assistance to poor families when building their houses on the Aguablanca District.

Since then, the unit has implemented this experience with a methodology of family participation in the construction of their homes, which has benefited Cali’s families and other Valle del Cauca’s Municipalities, as well as other Colombian cities.
