
Its goal is to help poverty stricken families find income generating opportunities to achieve economic self-sufficiency, with a long term view on prosperity and economic security for the community. It focuses on improving managerial skills for small business owners, fostering entrepreneurship and creating new business units, and building human capital by promoting market oriented technical training to secure opportunities for employment.
Its goal is to design and implement models to improve the quality and coverage of public education in priority regions in Colombia, thus generating opportunities to weave a better social fabric and broaden life perspectives through the acquisition of knowledge. The strategies are geared towards the improvement of factors that influence the quality and effectiveness of education: teacher training and experience, education resources, parental involvement, school infrastructure, access to ICT and school climate, among others.
Its goal is to provide low income families with dignified housing and a secure social environment for the community. We achieve this by working with the municipal and national governments, as well as financial institutions and private companies to develop affordable housing projects, while engaging community participation in the design, construction and appropriation of their new homes.
Its goal is to provide individual, family and community engagement throughout the Foundation´s programs, thus helping to coalesce the initiatives developed in income generation, education and housing. It is thought of as a transversal or crosswise line of action and its staff is composed mainly of social workers, psychologists, anthropologists, and other experts in social sciences and community dynamics.
